Karl Bertrand is a songwriter, guitarist, and producer hailing from Saratoga Springs, NY. Through a continuous immersion in the local and regional music community, he's cultivated a large repertoire of original and cover music; equal parts folk, jam, bluegrass, and jazz.
Karl is continuously recording and releasing new material. Since 2019 he's released 11 studio albums; some full of his flagship songwriting, others comprised of soothing ambient compositions. He's also played a role in producing a number of his friends along the way.
Karl adores performing and frequently plays bars, breweries, and restaurants -now splitting his time between Colorado and New York. Karl spent four winters teaching skiing and snowboarding to people of all ages at Gore Mountain in the Adirondack mountains before moving to Colorado. He now teaches at Aspen Snowmass.
